Amanda Tompkins is a designer and marketer and realizes design and marketing are not and can not be mutually exclusive.
Currently, the marketing director at Perry Ellis, a leading menswear designer, she manages production and advertising for the brand, including bi-annual fashion shows and advertising campaign shoots. She also built out and implements all Perry Ellis social media twitter and facebook. Over the last 2 years, she has also been studying graphic design at Parsons, the New School for Design. Upon graduation in December 2011, she will tie the two fields together.
When she isn't working or in school, she's geeking out over food, beer and remodeling her Brooklyn loft with her better half and pitbull, Halley. Either that or she's in Vermont.
