"Smiling Dog Treats” is a fictitious dog treat company that makes high end dog treats. The treats are made from the best ingredients (not typical low grade dog food), so the treats are organic and wholesome for the dog. The company also focuses its attention on the sustainability of the environment, and thus has packaging using either recycled packaging or packaging that can be used and reused. This site will be the main portal for learning more about and buying these treats.
Who is the target audience?
This product targets a dog owner who treats their dog as an extension of their family. In addition, they have a disposable income and an eye for style. This customer will be either live in an urban setting or will be urban-minded. The packaging will be minimal, yet eye-catching, and will stand out to this customer.
How will this site work?
This site will not be an ecommerce site. It will instead discuss the product, the benefits of buying this product and why it was produced. The information will also include "where to buy" information about hte local retailers as well as an online form to request to order online. All treats are handmade, so it will be a site for a smaller business model.
What is the competition?
